• Pending approval — no score yet by design; scoring happens at approval.
• Needs revision or rejected — these outcomes aren't scored; revise and resubmit to try again.
• Just approved — scoring runs right after the approval is saved; refresh after a few moments.

An approved activity that still shows no score after a while is worth flagging to an admin — scoring can occasionally fail on the AI side and be re-run.
